Delete your
account

You can delete your JabMate account, and everything we keep with it, at any time. It takes one confirmation, from the app or from this website.

How

Two ways to do it

In the app

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Tap your name at the top to open Account.
  3. Tap Privacy & data.
  4. Tap Delete account, and confirm.

On this website

  1. Sign in with the email you use in the app.
  2. Open your account, on the Profile tab.
  3. Press Delete my account, then Yes, delete it.

What goes

What’s deleted, and what isn’t

Deleting is immediate and can’t be undone.

  • Deleted straight away

    Your account, your name and email, your plan, your sessions, your speed tests and leaderboard entries, and your sign-in on every device.

  • Kept, apart from you

    Records of payments, detached from your account, for as long as tax law requires. Copies in backups go as the backups roll over.

  • Never held at all

    Video, photos or audio from your camera. They never leave your phone, so there’s nothing to delete.

First

Paying for Pro? Cancel first

An account with a subscription that’s still billing can’t be deleted, so you’re never charged for an account that no longer exists. Cancel from your account under Plan and billing, then delete. Stuck? Tell us in the chat and we’ll do it for you.
