Your data, plainly

• Your camera’s video never leaves your phone. It’s read on the device, frame by frame, and thrown away. Nothing is recorded or uploaded, ever, not even to fix a bug.
• We keep your account, your plan, and the numbers from your sessions, so they follow you between devices.
• We don’t sell your data, show ads, or use advertising trackers.
• You can delete your account and everything in it at any time, from the app or this website.

If you make an account, we store:

• Your account: your name, your email address and a scrambled (hashed) copy of your password, or your Google account’s id if you sign in with Google.
• Your plan: the program, level, days and stance you chose.
• Your sessions, as numbers: when you trained, rounds, punch counts, combinations, pace and similar figures. Never video, never images.
• Your speed tests: your punch speeds. The speed leaderboard shows your best speed with your first name and the first letter of your last name, never your full name or email.
• Your subscription: its status and your payments (amount, date, status and a link to the receipt). Card details are never sent to us; see “Payments” below.
• What you tell us: messages you send in the support chat, including files you attach, and any feedback or survey answers you give in the app.

Without an account, the app keeps your training on your phone only.

• Video, photos or audio from your camera or microphone. The app reads them on your device and keeps only numbers.
• Your location, your contacts, or advertising identifiers.
• Your IP address or browser details in our analytics.

We count a few steps people take (for example “started the quiz” or “opened pricing”) so we can tell what works. These events go to our own server, not to an analytics company. Each one carries a random id that isn’t linked to your account, and no IP address, browser details or anything typed in a form.

If your browser sends “Do Not Track”, the website sends no analytics at all.

Some of the coach’s spoken lines are written by an AI model, Google’s Gemini. To write one, we send it numbers from your session (like your pace or how many combinations landed) and a short, scrubbed phrase. We never send your name, email, video or images, and we don’t keep the phrase. If the AI isn’t available, the coach uses lines we wrote ourselves.

Payments are handled by Dodo Payments, our merchant of record. They take your card details, charge any sales tax, and send your receipts. We only receive what the subscription needs: whether it’s active, when it renews, and each payment’s amount and status.

A few small items in your browser’s storage: your sign-in, your light or dark choice, your quiz answers (so you can pick up where you left off), the support chat’s conversation id and the random analytics id. No advertising cookies. The full list is on the cookies page.

For as long as you have an account. When you delete it, your account, plan, sessions and speed tests are removed straight away. We keep payment records, detached from your account, for as long as tax law requires. Copies in backups are removed as the backups roll over.

JabMate is for people aged 18 and over. We don’t knowingly collect data from anyone younger; if you think we have, tell us and we’ll delete it.

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we’ll say so in the app and by email before it takes effect. This policy is published by JabMate.
