Learn to box properly, from the stance up.

  • 30 daysLength
  • 3–4 sessions a weekHow often
  • New to boxing, or coming back to itWho it’s for

Week by week

  1. Stance, guard and the jab

Where your feet go, where your hands stay, and the punch everything else is built on.

  2. The cross and the one-two

Your rear hand joins in, and the most useful combination in boxing.

  3. Hooks

Turning the hip and the shoulder together, on both sides.

  4. Uppercuts, combinations and defence

Everything together, with cues to keep your guard up between punches.

What you’ll get out of it

  • A stance you can hold for a full round
  • All six punches, thrown the right way
  • Combinations called by number, like a real coach does

A session, at your level

A warm-up, 3 rounds of 2 minutes with a minute’s rest between them, then a cool-down. About 8 minutes of boxing.
